Market Wilson’s Ciderhouse & Venue to attract new clients.
Respond to all event inquiries in a timely manner.
Schedule and conduct tours for all events.
Oversee all phases of the event to ensure it runs smoothly.
Manage day to day contact with clients (collect signed contracts, collect event insurance, answer questions, set up meetings/consultations, finalize table layout and timeline).
Manage day of operations for events including set up, staffing, helping clients, tear down, and opening/closing.
Ensure deposits, payments, final headcounts, event insurance, and all other information is received on time from clients.
Work with the Banquet Chef to finalize menus and service plans for events.
Act as the main point of contact for outside vendors for all events.
Schedule and organize any additional events hosted by Wilson’s Ciderhouse & Venue.
Maintain general knowledge of local vendors for music, florals, desserts, and equipment rentals.
Hire, train, and schedule event staff.
Maintain event furniture (chairs, tables) and other event equipment as needed.
Organize and maintain a clean event space and storage areas.
Be able to explain in detail Wilson’s Ciderhouse & Venue’s concept and practices to employees and customers.
Understand all Wilson’s Ciderhouse & Venue policies and enforce them when necessary.
Maintain a productive and enjoyable work environment for all staff.
Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations regarding health, safety and labor requirements.
Work with Content Manager to create engaging content for Wilson’s Ciderhouse & Venue.
Manage event inventory for the bar and dry goods.
Maintain stock levels and order bar supplies when necessary.
Qualifications
Excellent time management and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
Ability to work independently as well as lead, manage, and motivate a team.
At least two years experience in event management.
Must be available to work nights and weekends.
