A cross between Golden Delicious and Cox Orange Pippin, Freyberg is noted for its sweet, complex flavor and aromatic qualities with notes of anise. Almost pear-like. Fine, crisp texture, is great for eating fresh or adding to salads and sandwhiches. Also great for juice and sauce.
