French Beaded Flowers Workshop

French Beaded Flowers Workshop hosted by Cheryl Weatherford owner of Chereal Designs in Iowa City. Cheryl is an accomplished artist and teacher specializing in wearable art that ignites spiritual intent.

For this workshop each participant will create a bouquet of French beaded flowers. French beaded flowers are made by stringing beads onto wire and shaping the wire into various flower parts then assembling these units to form a complete flower. This approachable yet challenging project serves as a perfect introduction to the French technique. Materials for this workshop will be provided by Chereal Designs. Workshoppers will learn fundamentals of wire-wrapping and will use Czech seed beads to complete this project. The workshop is appropriate for ages 8 and up!

This event will be held outdoors, in the Mezzanine near the Farm Market in Iowa City.
