Join us for Johnny Appleseed's 248th birthday! We will be celebrating the man behind the apples all day!


John Chapman (September 26, 1774 – March 18, 1845), better known as Johnny Appleseed, was an American pioneer nurseryman who introduced apple trees to large parts of the American Midwest.

He became an American legend while still alive, due to his kind, generous ways, his leadership in conservation, and the symbolic importance he attributed to apples.


WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
-ALL DAY 9am-9pm
-You-pick apples $3.00 per pound
-Pre-picked apples $3.50 per pound
-You-pick flowers $1.50 per stem (plus $5 for sheers and vase)
