Four portobello caps.
1/2 cup tamari or soy sauce
1/2 cup lemon juice
4-6 cloves chopped garlic
1-2 jalapeño chopped
Fresh thyme sprigs
Olive oil to cover
Marinade mushrooms in soy sauce or Tamari and lemon juice for 10 minutes.
Remove from marinade, salt and pepper the mushrooms and grill for approx 3-4 minutes per side on a medium hot grill.
Mushrooms should begin to soften.
Cut mushrooms in half and submerge in oil layering with remaining ingredients. Let mushrooms develop flavor for 3-5 days. Use within 30 days.
